Custom Lab Grown Diamonds FAQs

Why is a 50% deposit required?

Every piece is made specifically for you. The deposit allows us to begin diamond sourcing, custom diamond cutting, CAD design, and production planning.

Will I receive the IGI certificate for a custom-cut diamond?

Yes. Every certified diamond (1ct and above) includes its official IGI grading report, which will be provided with your order.

How many CAD revisions are included?

We provide up to two complimentary CAD revisions before production begins.

How long does a custom order take?

The production timeline depends on the type of customization and whether a new diamond needs to be sourced or cut.

Standard Made-to-Order Designs

Approximately 7–28 business days for production, followed by DHL Express delivery in 2–7 business days after dispatch.

Antique & Champagne Diamond Projects

Approximately 14–28 business days for preparation and production (within our standard 7–28 business day production window), followed by DHL Express delivery in 2–7 business days after dispatch.

Custom Cut Diamond Projects

• Custom diamond cutting and ring crafting typically fall within 7–28 business days total production time

• DHL Express delivery: 2–7 business days after dispatch

Existing Diamond Custom Projects

• Ring crafting and finishing: typically within 7–28 business days

• DHL Express delivery: 2–7 business days after dispatch

Can I change the diamond after seeing the photos and videos?

Yes.

Before production begins, you may request an alternative diamond if the original selection does not meet your expectations. Our team will help source suitable alternatives for review.

Is the deposit refundable?

A 50% deposit starts the custom process.

Before the CAD design is issued, cancellations are free of charge.

After the CAD design has been provided, a 15% cancellation fee applies.

After CAD confirmation / production has begun, a 30% cancellation fee applies.

Can I create a ring from a photo or inspiration image?

Absolutely.

Many of our custom projects begin with a screenshot, Pinterest image, sketch, or reference photo. Our team will help transform your inspiration into a finished design.

Do you offer installment payments?

Yes.

Both the 50% deposit and the final 50% balance can be paid using flexible options where available, including PayPal Pay Later, Klarna, Afterpay, and Affirm, subject to location, amount, and eligibility at checkout.

How can I track my order progress?

Your dedicated consultant will provide updates throughout the process, including CAD renderings, photos, videos, and production milestones.

Are customs duties or import taxes included?

Shipping charges do not include customs duties or import taxes. Any applicable fees are determined by your local customs authority.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes.

We ship worldwide via DHL Express with full insurance and tracking.
