Warranty & Lifetime Jewelry Care

One-Year Limited Manufacturing Warranty

At Elora, we are committed to creating fine jewelry with exceptional craftsmanship and lasting quality. Every piece is carefully handcrafted using precious metals and laboratory-grown diamonds and undergoes thorough quality inspection before shipment.

Elora provides a one-year limited manufacturing warranty from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers verified manufacturing defects that occur under normal wear.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed during the warranty period, Elora will, at its sole discretion, repair the item, replace the defective component, or provide another appropriate remedy.

This warranty is separate from our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

What Is Covered

Our one-year limited warranty covers verified manufacturing defects, including but not limited to:

  • Manufacturing defects in metal workmanship
  • Structural defects caused by the manufacturing process
  • Stone setting defects resulting from manufacturing
  • Loose or missing accent stones caused by a verified manufacturing defect

All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Elora.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, improper care, or circumstances beyond Elora's control.

Examples include:

  • Normal scratches, dents, or signs of wear
  • Bent or misshapen rings
  • Worn prongs resulting from everyday wear
  • Stone loss caused by impact, worn settings, or accidental damage
  • Damage caused by chemicals, excessive heat, or improper handling
  • Damage resulting from third-party repairs, resizing, or alterations
  • Loss or theft
  • Cosmetic changes resulting from normal aging of precious metals

Jewelry Care & Maintenance

To help keep your jewelry in excellent condition, we recommend professional inspection and cleaning every 6–12 months.

Regular inspections help identify worn prongs, loose stones, and other signs of wear before they develop into more significant issues.

Where available, customers are welcome to visit an Elora showroom for professional inspection and cleaning.

Ring Resizing Policy

We strongly recommend confirming your ring size before placing your order. If you are unsure of your size, we recommend using a professional ring sizer or visiting a local jeweler for measurement.

Once your order has been delivered, complimentary resizing is not available. Resizing services may be available depending on the ring design. A resizing fee typically starts at USD $100, depending on the design, and customers are responsible for all shipping costs to and from Elora.

Most rings can typically be resized by up to ±1 US ring size (for example, from US 6 to US 5 or US 7) while maintaining the structural integrity and thickness of the band.

The following styles generally cannot be resized:

  • Eternity bands
  • Full pavé designs
  • Engraved bands
  • Double shank, triple shank, and other multi-shank designs
  • Other designs that cannot be safely resized due to their construction

Elora reserves the right to decline resizing if doing so could compromise the integrity or durability of the jewelry.

All care and repair requests are subject to inspection by Elora. A quotation and estimated turnaround time will be provided for your approval before any work begins.

For the safety of your jewelry, Elora reserves the right to decline any requested repair or resizing if the work could compromise the structural integrity of the piece.

Laboratory-Grown Diamond Disclosure

Unless otherwise stated in writing, diamonds sold by Elora are laboratory-grown diamonds.

By completing the purchase, the customer acknowledges that the diamond is laboratory-grown.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your jewelry has a manufacturing defect, please contact us before arranging any repair.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Photos or videos of the item
  • A description of the issue

Where necessary, Elora may request that the jewelry be returned for inspection before determining the appropriate resolution.

Warranty Assessment

All warranty and repair requests are subject to inspection by Elora.

Following inspection, Elora will determine whether the issue is the result of:

  • A manufacturing defect
  • Normal wear
  • Accidental damage
  • Improper use
  • Unauthorized repair or alteration
  • Another condition not covered by the warranty

If the issue is not covered under warranty, we will provide available repair options and a quotation before proceeding.

Nothing in this warranty limits any statutory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.

Jewelry Care & Warranty FAQs

What does the one-year manufacturing warranty cover?

Our one-year limited manufacturing warranty covers verified manufacturing defects under normal wear, including defects in metal workmanship, stone setting, or structural craftsmanship.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed during the warranty period, Elora will repair the item, replace the defective component, or provide another appropriate remedy at our discretion.

What happens after the one-year warranty expires?

Even after your warranty has ended, we're here to help. Through our Lifetime Jewelry Care Services, we continue to offer professional jewelry care and repair, including resizing, polishing, stone replacement, rhodium plating, and other maintenance services. Service fees may apply depending on the type of work required.

How do I request a warranty repair or jewelry service?

Simply contact our team with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos or videos of your jewelry. If needed, we'll arrange for the piece to be returned for inspection before recommending the most appropriate solution.

How often should I have my jewelry inspected?

We recommend having your jewelry professionally inspected and cleaned every 6–12 months. Regular inspections help identify worn prongs, loose stones, and other signs of wear before they develop into more significant issues.

Professional cleaning is complimentary for all eligible Elora jewelry.

Is ring resizing available?

Yes. Most eligible rings can typically be resized by up to ±1 US ring size while maintaining the structural integrity of the band.

Resizing is offered as a paid service after delivery. Pricing varies depending on the design, and customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from Elora.

Can every ring be resized?

Some designs cannot be safely resized due to their construction. This generally includes eternity bands, full pavé rings, engraved bands, split shank designs, multi-shank designs, and certain other specialty styles.

If you're unsure whether your ring can be resized, our team will be happy to assess your piece before any work is carried out.

Is professional cleaning really free?

Yes. Complimentary professional cleaning is available throughout the lifetime of eligible Elora jewelry. Simply contact us to arrange a visit or discuss available service options.

What if a diamond becomes loose or falls out?

If the issue is caused by a verified manufacturing defect during the one-year warranty period, it may be covered under warranty following inspection by Elora.

If the stone becomes loose or is lost due to normal wear, accidental damage, or impact, we can provide professional stone replacement or repair through our Lifetime Jewelry Care Services.

Does rhodium plating last forever?

Rhodium plating naturally wears over time depending on daily wear, lifestyle, and exposure to everyday elements. This is a normal characteristic of white gold jewelry rather than a manufacturing defect.

Whenever needed, Elora offers professional rhodium re-plating as part of our Lifetime Jewelry Care Services.

Can I have my jewelry repaired by another jeweler?

You may choose any jeweler to service your jewelry. However, repairs, resizing, or alterations performed by a third party may affect the one-year manufacturing warranty for the modified portion of the jewelry.

If you're unsure, we recommend contacting Elora before arranging any third-party repair so we can help you choose the best option.

How long do repairs usually take?

Repair times vary depending on the type of service required. Once we receive and inspect your jewelry, we'll provide an estimated turnaround time before any work begins.
